Movie Reviews of 10 Minute Solution: PilatesMovie Review: Buy this. Summary: 5 StarsNot only is this is a great DVD for beginners, but I love the 10 minute segments. I never have an excuse NOT to work out because the program can be adapted for what you have time for and/or what areas you want to work. I've been using this program for about a month, and I can tell a slight difference in my body shape, but my core strength and flexibility has greatly increased over that time.
Movie Review: Love this video! Summary: 5 StarsI had never done Pilates before buying this video on a whim. It is really fun to do and I like that it is broken down in to 10 min. segments. I really like that there is an emphasis on flexibility with Pilates and not just strength. (If I could only do the "scissor" like Lara!) The best part is that I can tell I've improved - my back doesn't arch off the ground like it used to when I'm doing ab exercises and I can tell that I've gained flexibility. I'm middle aged and so losing flexibility and strength is a concern for me.
If you are new to Pilates, Lara does a good job explaining the moves (you will soon memorize the order) and she is very pleasant first thing in the morning!
Movie Review: AWESOME!!!!! Summary: 5 StarsI love this DVD! the Sculpting pilates section is really challenging at first,
and each time I found it was easier though. Also the abs section gave really
good results, and so did the buns and thighs section. The other two sections
I didn't find fun or worth while but the other three are amazing!!!!!!
Movie Review: Pilates Summary: 4 StarsI'm new to Pilates and in my late 50's so I was worried this might be one of those purchases that wouldn't get used. But the format is wonderful for me. I can do from 1-5 10 minute workouts depending on my time availability and motivation. I can tell the difference in just a few weeks of workouts. This was a great purchase.
Movie Review: Fabulous workout!!! Summary: 4 StarsThis is a MUST HAVE pilates DVD. The moves are awesome, and while you are doing it, you can feel the fantastic burns, and the stretches release the tension in your body so efficiently. The only thing that I can complain about is the breathing, I feel hard to keep up with it, the fast and forced inhales and exhales are so unnatural, I guess it takes a while to get use to. I especially like the lower body and stretch sections. As for abs, whenever I'm doing ONE HUNDRED or double leg/single leg stretch, I don't feel much around my abs, but very tense on my neck, I guess that's my weakness point. But overall, this DVD is well-structured, very well interpreted and easy to follow (only a few moves are advance for newbies like me).
